Our Sustainability Initiatives
Throughout the company, we have initiatives that vary from small to globally significant. Here are a few examples:
Camara Education
This charitable organization sets up eLearning centers in schools in Ethiopia, Kenya, Tanzania, and Zambia. By donating its disused computers and IT equipment to the Camara, Bioventus reduces waste and promotes digital education.
Meatless Mondays
In addition to the environmental benefits, Meatless Mondays encourage our employees to make healthier lifestyle choices. This initiative includes educating people about the impact of their everyday decisions on the environment.
PLUG Employee Resource Group (ERG)
Members of our Passionate Leaders United for a Greener future ERG have, among other activities, partnered with the Wolf River Conservancy to protect an important watershed in Memphis, Tennessee, and donated a day of muscle power to the Eno River Association, based in Durham.
