Bihl III, fungiert derzeit als interimistischer Chief Executive Officer von Bioventus LLC. Er wird auch im Vorstand des Unternehmens t\u00e4tig sein. Herr Bihl war von 2013 bis zu seiner Pensionierung im Jahr 2020 CEO und Mitglied des Vorstands von Bioventus LLC. Herr Bihl ist eine erfahrene F\u00fchrungskraft mit mehr als 35 Jahren nachgewiesener Branchenerfahrung und ist derzeit Vorstandsmitglied von Sonendo Inc und Spectral Medical Inc.<\/p>\n<p>Bihl war zuvor CEO und Pr\u00e4sident von American Medical Systems (AMS), einem b\u00f6rsennotierten diversifizierten Anbieter von medizinischen Ger\u00e4ten und Eingriffen im Beckenbereich. W\u00e4hrend seiner vierj\u00e4hrigen T\u00e4tigkeit im Unternehmen leitete er die Umstrukturierung nach einer Reihe von \u00dcbernahmen, st\u00e4rkte das Managementteam, etablierte eine leistungsorientierte Kultur mit klarer Verantwortlichkeit und erzielte ein Umsatzwachstum und eine Steigerung des Betriebsgewinns. 2011 f\u00fchrte Bihl das Unternehmen zum erfolgreichen Verkauf an Endo Pharmaceuticals.<\/p>\n<p>Vor AMS war Bihl CEO von Siemens Medical Solutions Diagnostics, einer 2,5-Milliarden-Dollar-Sparte der Siemens AG, die sich auf den Markt f\u00fcr In-vitro-Diagnostika (IVD) konzentriert. Dort leitete er die Gr\u00fcndung des Gesch\u00e4ftsbereichs durch die erfolgreiche Integration von zwei Gesch\u00e4ftsbereichen mit mehr als 8.000 Mitarbeitern und Betrieben in 100 L\u00e4ndern \u2013 und erzielte gleichzeitig ein schnelleres Umsatzwachstum als das Marktwachstum und \u00fcbertraf die Gewinnziele.<\/p>\n<p>Bihl war au\u00dferdem President der 1,8 Milliarden US-Dollar schweren Diagnostics-Sparte von Bayer Healthcare LLC und Executive Vice President von Bayer Healthcare LLC. Er steigerte den Umsatz des Gesch\u00e4ftsbereichs kontinuierlich und leitete die strategischen Diskussionen und Due Diligence, die zur \u00dcbernahme des Gesch\u00e4ftsbereichs durch Siemens f\u00fcr 5,4 Milliarden US-Dollar f\u00fchrten.<\/p>\n<p>Vor seinem Wechsel zu Bayer hatte Bihl F\u00fchrungspositionen bei Sterling Diagnostic Imaging und E.I.
