Neels spielte eine Schl\u00fcsselrolle beim Aufbau und der Leitung der Investmentstrategie f\u00fcr Medizinprodukte von EW. Er ist derzeit im Board of Directors der Wachstumskapital-Portfoliounternehmen von EW, Axogen und Bioventus, t\u00e4tig und spielte in einer Reihe von Wachstumskapitalinvestitionen, darunter Sonendo und TELA Bio, eine zentrale Rolle.<\/p>\n

Vor seiner T\u00e4tigkeit bei EW war Neels Chief Operate Officer der Guidant Corporation, einem weltweit f\u00fchrenden Unternehmen in der Entwicklung von kardiovaskul\u00e4ren Medizinprodukten, bevor das Unternehmen f\u00fcr 25\u00a0Mrd. US-Dollar \u00fcbernommen wurde. Er war f\u00fcr das weltweite operative Gesch\u00e4ft der vier Unternehmensbereiche von Guidant verantwortlich, Herzrhythmus-Management, vaskul\u00e4re Intervention, Herzchirurgie und endovaskul\u00e4re L\u00f6sungen. Zuvor war er f\u00fcr den weltweiten Vertrieb, die Unternehmenskommunikation, das Marketing, Investor Relations und Regierungsbeziehungen verantwortlich. Au\u00dferdem war er als Vice President f\u00fcr globales Marketing der Abteilung f\u00fcr vaskul\u00e4re Intervention und als Managing Director f\u00fcr den deutschen und mitteleurop\u00e4ischen Markt t\u00e4tig. Vor seiner T\u00e4tigkeit bei Guidant hatte Neels Positionen in den Bereichen General Management, Sales und Marketing bei Lilly in den USA und Europa inne.<\/p>\n
