Bioventus Invites Clinicians Attending NASS to Help Raise $10,000 for Research

DURHAM, NC – November 10, 2014 – Bioventus, a global leader in orthobiologic solutions, today announced a program to raise up to $10,000 for research on spine-related disabilities. Bioventus, who recently acquired the OsteoAMP® product line, intellectual property and commercial business from Advanced Biologics, will be exhibiting in booth #419 at the 2014 North American Spine Society (NASS) Annual Meeting. For each clinician member of NASS that visits the Bioventus booth, the company will donate $100 to the NASS Annual Research Fund. Bioventus is attempting to raise $10,000 during the exhibition days (November 13-15) of the annual meeting at the Moscone Center, in San Francisco.

By visiting the booth, clinicians will also learn more about OsteoAMP a tissue based bone biologic product used by spine surgeons to promote natural bone growth and healing. OsteoAMP is a bone allograft made using a proprietary process designed to retain the bone’s natural growth factor complement. It comes in four formats (granules, compressible sponges, putty, and structural grafts) and is a cost-effective alternative to recombinant growth factors and allograft-derived stem cells.
